KJP Suppresses School Dropouts Rate

Education must be clear, we must maintain school dropouts rate under 0.5 percent

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama disclosed, Jakarta people should not drop out of school. Thus his party tries to improve the quality of its citizen life.

"Education must be clear, we must maintain school dropouts rate under 0.5 percent," said Basuki, at City Hall, Wednesday (10/5).

KJP Monitoring must Be Tightened

According to him, such number is lower than school dropouts in Yogyakarta, which is 13 percent. At this time, in Jakarta, the number only reaches 0.4 percent.

"That's why, people moved to the flat, this is more humane. Given the doctor, given a bus, free school and market operation. That's what we mean human," he stated.

Even, starting this year, Jakarta government has given KJP until college with Jakarta Card program of Superior Student (KJMU), especially for KJP holders who qualify for public universities (PTN).
